Originally from the area known as “Gotham City” in Orlando, Florida. Rap Artist, Dufflebag Duffie is set to release his debut LP the “The Last Mohican”, much to the excitement of his growing army of fans. The LP is expected to be a success. Duffie spent his childhood moving around different poverty stricken areas within his city due to broken homes and stints in juvenile as well as adult correctional facilities which contributed to him developing his own unique sound based on those experiences. He has made it his own and it is certain to gain interest from fans and respect from his peers.

The development of his unique style is the result of his early musical influences. Growing up Duffie was always surrounded by different forms of music. His mother introduced him to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced his development.

Duffie’s musical journey did not end with his mother’s influence. Growing up in “Gotham City” the music that permeated the neighborhood was rap. It was here that he developed his musical tastes and interests, all of which have had a profound influence on the direction his musical journey has taken.

From age 15-19 Duffie lived a hard fast life, driven by the desire to make money. A series of unfortunate events landed him in prison doing a five year bid. It was time spent there where he decided to make a decision which he never looked back from. He decided to pursue a rap career full time.

After realizing that making music was his main goal, he began to showcase his talent to local venue in Orlando, making sure that his name and music were being heard. He is noted for his realness and unique style that he has brought to scene, and his popularity has now begun to grow. As his confidence grew and his style developed, he soon built a loyal following and he has found an appreciative audience.

He is keen to point out that everything he listens to directly affects his musical development in some way. However, Tupac, Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Eight Ball, Devin the Dude, Trick Daddy and Doe B as amongst his biggest influences in the industry.

The songs on his upcoming LP will provide a glimpse of who he is as rapper. Duffie calls himself a street prophet making reality street music. Duffie believes his purpose is to tell his story; to let people know what’s really going on in a life they might not know about. His style is slick and punctuated throughout with elements of hip-hop and R&B.
